Safe and Secure
Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with a very capable and strong lady who needed to make her workshop/shed area a functioning place. As you can see from the Before pictures the space was cluttered and the client reported that she was “frustrated because she couldn’t see or find anything easily. She felt totally disorganised and it discouraged her from doing other work in her garden and home. I dreaded going near the shed”.
We made a plan and started the process of looking at all the items she had and soon got in the flow. We rearranged shelves so that they are more accessible. An important part of a shed or workshop is a bin to put rubbish or recycling in as this helps to keep the place tidy and rubbish free. It was great that the weather held out and with other adults support and sheer hard work we made great progress in a couple of hours. Everyone was energised and we finished the task by sweeping up the shed floor moving the spiders to a new home!!
As part of the job I always ask how the client feels immediately after the job is complete and she reported that ” she feels liberated and efficient .
She can now put her hand on tools easily and see where everything is” . Now there’s a mum making her space safe and secure for herself and her children.
